Tax Incentives & Permits
The Georgia Film Office offers a tax incentive for production companies willing to film in the state of Georgia. This comes as a 20% base transferrable tax credit that is applicable to productions that meet the requirements. The Georgia Film Office does not issue filming permits as this is done at the municipal level.
